Choosing one that fits all your needs is hard, especially when you’re on a budget, that is why I am trying to review all possible chairs.
You may find that it is perfect for you.
I am getting ahead of myself here.
The iDeal Shiatsu Massage chair is just one of the off-brand competitors that has caught my attention.
It’s affordable, but...
Is it worth the money?
If you have no intention to read the whole thing, HERE is a Much Better Alternative.
Some of its peers provide their users with some pleasant surprises, others with undesirable downsides.
To help you avoid the possible waste of your money (and time), this iDeal chair review might ease your decision and shed light on this affordable massage chair that claims to be what you need.
iDeal Shiatsu Massage Chair review
iDeal Shiatsu chair may be a good competition for a lot of massage chairs in the same price range, BUT it is not ideal value for the money
Before making any final decisions, have a look at the features and benefits to decide if this chair is worth your time and investment.
.
Most Important Features
S-Track Innovation
iDeal Shiatsu massage chair offers a high-quality massage by an S-track frame which makes the quad rollers follow your spine.
This is pretty standard on all massage chairs.
3D Body Scan
A built-in body scanning technology is NOT the most common feature to find in models for this budget. But Kahuna's 6800 model can do a better job in detecting all the right parts.
By scanning, the chair locates your pressure points and adjusts the rollers to enhance the quality of the massage.
Zero Gravity Position
While a lot of massage chairs offer two-level zero gravity positions, the iDeal Shiatsu has three to offer.
By positioning the knees above the heart, the chair can provide a better, more thorough, and deeper massage.
Massage Option Programs
iDeal massage chair offers four different massage techniques: Shiatsu, spinal rolling, kneading, and vibration.
Even though the vibration is not an actual technique, it’s more of a seat vibration mode.
The problem with this mode is that it’s extremely noisy and the seat vibrations are too intense for some.
Apart from that, this model also offers four massage modes (activate, relaxation, upper back, and lower back).
You can adjust the intensity, the length, and the speed of the massage, as well as the airbags and the rollers.
Air Massage System
According to the vendor’s website, the massage chair boasts 48 airbags: shoulder arm airbags, arms airbags, calves, and foot airbags as well as seat areas.
Most of budget massage chairs don’t even provide this option, which is a big plus for iDeal chairs.
What’s more, there are two intensity levels when in air massage mode, which you can adjust via the control panel.
Heat Therapy
While this may be one of the rare massage chairs to provide an option for the lower back heat, you need to know that the heat is limited strictly to the lumbar area.
Feel free to turn it on and off as you please, but keep in mind that the temperature cannot be regulated.
Calf and Foot Massage
There are some airbags placed in the leg massage area, and the calf massage is excellent.
There are even massage balls in the foot area as well, but you need to know that these don’t move.
With iDeal massage chair, you can get an excellent calf massage, but when it comes to a foot massage, you’re on your own.
You can move your legs across the massage balls if you want to, but on the other hand, you may feel the feature is entirely useless.
Control Panel
The iDeal chair comes without remote control; it comes with a control panel instead.
It’s a console on the chair arm, straightforward to use and well-designed.

About iDeal Shiatsu Massage Chair
iDeal massage chair comes from an off-brand company that is an online vendor. The components of their products are manufactured in China.
They offer a selection of chairs, and some online iDeal massage chair reviews claim this is an excellent value for money.
The iDeal Shiatsu massage chair comes with a three-year warranty and the company also offers a 10-day return policy with a 20% restocking fee.
The iDeal Shiatsu massage chair is made of high-quality synthetic leather, and available in four different colors (black, brown, beige, and red).
The chair weighs 200 lbs., and it’s able to accommodate people up to 300 pounds.
IDeal provides four massage techniques, and four different massage modes, with various levels of intensity and length (5 to 30 minutes).
The height of the chair is adjustable.
The Benefits

Relaxonchair MK-ii vs. iDeal Shiatsu Massage Chair
When it comes to choosing the RelaxOnChair or the iDeal massage chair, the first appearance can play an important role.
After all, the iDeal chair seems much more professional, but looks can be deceiving.
The following features both chairs have in common:
- 3D body scan
- Air massage
- Low-back heat
- Zero gravity
- Space-saving issue
The Differences
iDeal massage chair has an inbuilt S-track, which follows the natural curve of the spine, moving up and down.
The MK-II plus chair has an L-track, which is an extension of the S-track. It is very beneficial for people with lower back pain and sore muscles.
The rollers follow the spine, reaching all the way to the glutes.
The MK-LL plus offers a body-stretch function, which might be very attractive to users with chronic back pain or sciatica, but some claim this function is not strong enough.
On the other hand, iDeal massage chair does not have a back-stretching function altogether.
The MK-II plus comes with a remote control that is easy to use, but difficult to see when it’s dark because the buttons not illuminated.
iDeal chair, however, comes with a control panel that it’s user-friendly and easily operable.
While the iDeal massage chair is not one of the luxury shiatsu chairs, it does offer the shiatsu massage technique as one of the four massage techniques.
The MK-II plus chair is, on the other hand, advertised as a shiatsu massage chair, but this isn’t’ actually one of the techniques available.
.
iDeal Shiatsu Massage Chair vs. Kahuna LM6800 Real Relax Massage Chair Recliner
The Kahuna massage chair brand has become more prominent in the last few years.
Yes, it may not seem as professional as the iDeal chair or even those massage chairs from the Osaki brand or Luraco.
But, it has some definite advantages that make it superior to many of its competitors.
Lm6800 and iDeal Shiatsu share only a few features.
They both have the ability to do a full-body 3D scan, air massage mode, and calf massage.
With an extendable ottoman, a lack of MP3 support, and massage that can last up to thirty minutes, the differences seem small and even insignificant.
The (obvious) Differences
When it comes to the facts, the users can get a more thorough idea of what chair offers the best value for their money.
iDeal Shiatsu chair provides three zero-gravity positions, which is more than most chains in this price range.
It even surpasses the Kahuna in this aspect, because the latter only offers two.
Regarding heat therapy, the heat function of the iDeal Shiatsu chair is limited strictly to the low-back region, while the LM6800 has two heating pads; one in the lumbar area and one in the calf area.
When it comes to the foot massage, the iDeal chair doesn’t have this option available, apart from the massage balls at the bottom that doesn’t move.
On the other hand, the LM6800 doesn’t provide only kneading balls to massage the bottoms of the feet.
This chair has a dual roller ball system installed. This way the users can get a more thorough experience, even though some have complained that the rollers are a bit too powerful.

Last Thoughts on iDeal Shiatsu Massage Chair
The iDeal Shiatsu massage chair is in the lower price range. While it wants to be as good as other fellow chairs from unknown brands, its downsides may be impossible to ignore.
While this chair is a solid choice when it comes to a basic massage with minor therapeutic benefits, it fails to compensate for what it lacks in other areas. The other two massage chairs, namely Relaxonchair MK-II plus and LM6800 Kahuna, are both FDA-approved massage chairs.
With a body-stretch function and an L-track innovation, they provide more value to their users. It’s true that the LM6800 comes with an incomplete instruction manual, but the 20% restocking fee in the case of the iDeal chair is a negative surprise.
The iDeal may be easy to install and available in four different colors, not to mention its professional appearance, but it fails to provide enough value to the user. The risk of such a sum may not be worth it. The chair has too many downsides; there is a variety of massage chairs on the market in a similar price range of a higher value.
